After granting more than 75 scholarships to medical laboratory science students over the past 15 years, the American Proficiency Institute will increase the amount of its awards to rising college juniors and seniors this year.
New API Scholarships will grant $5,000 for each selected student. The competitive award garners hundreds of applicants each year. The next scholarship cycle will begin in March 2023 with an application for students and their medical laboratory science program directors to complete. This year’s awards will be made by June 2023. Application forms will be sent to medical laboratory science programs across the country and will also be placed on the API website at www.api-pt.com.
