API scholarship application period opens for clinical laboratory students
Now in its 15th year, the API scholarship program is accepting applications for its 2021 awards.
Over 70 clinical laboratory science students nationwide have been awarded scholarships from the American Proficiency Institute (API).
Daniel C. Edson, API President, said, “Many past API Scholarship recipients are now operating and innovating the laboratories of today. We seek to continue awarding students whose drive and appetite for laboratory science will benefit the profession.”
Senior- and junior-level clinical laboratory science students should complete the application, available at www.api-pt.com, and submit it to their program director for a recommendation and signature. Program directors must submit the completed applications to API by Monday, November 8, 2021.
Five $2,000 scholarship awardees will be announced by Monday, December 6, 2021.
