API scholarship application period open for clinical laboratory students
Now in its fourteenth year, the American Proficiency Institute (API) is accepting applications for its scholarship program. Five scholarships, totaling $10,000, will be awarded to clinical laboratory science students in 2020.
“The API Scholarship Program began as an opportunity to give back to the clinical laboratory community and support the next generation of medical laboratory scientists,” explained Daniel C. Edson, President of API. “While the purpose remains the same, we continue to be impressed with the caliber of students interested in the profession.”
Senior- and junior-level clinical laboratory science students are encouraged to apply.
Interested students should complete the application and submit it to their program director for a recommendation and signature. Program directors must submit the completed applications to API by Monday, November 9, 2020.
The five $2,000 scholarship awardees will be announced by Monday, December 7, 2020.
