The American Hospital Association (AHA) has opened applications for their new online Quality Exchange.
The aim of the program is to connect healthcare professionals to enhance quality of care and safety. The collaborative will serve as a support system, according to AHA’s website. Members will have the opportunity to participate in live events, access training videos, and exchange stories with other members.
The program will cover the following topics:
“Emerging trends in quality
Data analytics and performance metrics
Enhancing patient-centered care
Patient safety and reducing harm
Leveraging technology for quality improvement
Lean and Six Sigma in healthcare
Improving board engagement in quality
Strengthening quality improvement leadership and workforce engagement"
The deadline to apply is April 22. There are a limited number of spots available.
