Discover how labs studied in recent MLO compliance survey stack up against each other

MLO sent a survey out to readers asking if their labs have begun identifying the analytes they test that have been added to the updated CLIA regulations related to proficiency testing for January 1, 2025.

The majority of respondents said not yet, but they will be ready ahead of their 2025 PT program enrollment (56%).

Additional results:

·        44% answered yes, my lab has begun reviewing the updated regulations and we are prepared for the new PT requirements.

·        Nobody answered no, my lab hopes our PT provider will offer more guidance soon.
