WalletHub report: Top U.S. cities for jobs

WalletHub's recent analysis ranks Scottsdale, AZ, and Columbia, MD, as the top cities for finding jobs, highlighting strong job markets and economic factors, while Detroit, MI, ranks lowest due to limited opportunities and high unemployment.

WalletHub recently conducted an analysis to determine which cities are the best for jobs. The findings are summarized in an article by Adam McCann.

Topping the list for finding jobs is Scottsdale, AZ, followed closely by Columbia, MD. Both cities received scores of 66 and ranked high in the job market category. Columbia ranked higher than Scottsdale in the socio-economic category, however. Detroit, MI was deemed the worst city for finding a job, with a score of 39.46. Detroit was also listed as having the lowest number of job opportunities, highest unemployment rate, and lowest median annual income.

Pittsburgh, PA had the most job opportunities, according to WalletHub. New Haven, CT had the best employment growth, while Port St. Lucie, FL had the lowest. Starting salaries were reported highest in San Jose, CA and Washington, DC. Cedar Rapids, IA had the most affordable housing.
