Reference guide

Physician’s Office Laboratory Microscopy ATLAS, 4th edition, from American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP-PT) is a reference guide that focuses exclusively on the microscopic elements most often seen in the clinic or office laboratory. The ATLAS is an at-the-microscope reference featuring more than 150 clear, full-color photographs of urine sediment, vaginal wet preps, KOH preps, peripheral blood smears, pinworm preps, fecal leukocytes, nasal smears, fern test, and gram stains. It is also a tool for training, continuing education, and competency assessment.AAFP

Clinical microscope

ACCU-SCOPE’s EXC-500 Series offers performance and value for clinical laboratory and research applications. The NIS optical system provides sharp, crisp images via Plan achromat or S-Plan APO objectives. The modular design is compatible with many accessories for clinical research, fluorescence, phase contrast, and darkfield applications. Engineered for operators attempting to detect purples, cyans and reds, the EXC-500 utilizes a white LED with a high color rendering index, allowing for color renderings equal to those of halogen lamps. The motion-sensing Eco-illumination automatically turns off the transmitted LED illuminator after 30 minutes, saving energy and lamp life.ACCU-SCOPE

Compound microscope solutions

The Leica DM4 B and Leica DM6 B upright digital microscopes both are suited to biomedical research as well as clinical labs. Features include: (1) simplified workflow, with automated functions and easy-to-use software; (2) easily capturable publication-quality images, through utilization of the 19-mm sCMOS camera imaging port; (3) the Specimen Overview tool, for fast orientation in the sample; and (4) greater flexibility through the choice of accessories such as Halogen or LED illumination.Leica

It is good for: (a) Research, Teaching, and Demonstration; (b) Patholgy, Cytology, Oncology, and Hematolgy; (c) High-Resolution Imaging; and (d) Long Life, Day-light Color, LED Illumination.LW Scientific

Automatic slide loaders

The PL-100/PL-200 Slide Loaders are advanced systems for automatic slide handling in a variety of microscope applications. The PL-200 model is designed for 1 x 3 slides and accommodates up to 200 slides that are housed in four removable slide racks, each of which holds up to fifty slides. The PL-100 model is designed for 2 x 3 slides and is capable of handling up to 100 slides, which are housed in two racks of fifty. The units can be used with existing microscopes by adding the appropriate prior scanning stage.Prior-US

Inverted research microscope

The new ECLIPSE Ti2 Inverted Research Microscope delivers a 25mm field of view as well as improved stability and usability powered by an intelligent microscope operation guide. The ECLIPSE Ti2 maximizes the sensor area of large-format CMOS cameras and improves data throughput. The Ti2’s stable, drift-free platform is designed to meet the demands of super-resolution imaging, while its hardware-triggering capabilities enhance challenging, high-speed imaging applications. The ECLIPSE Ti2 features: (1) large diameter observation optics; (2) improved stability (Ti2-E); (3) improved usability (Ti2-E/A); and (4) auto correction collar for quality imaging.Nikon Instruments
