In honor of the upcoming National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week (April 20-26), MLO is pleased to salute the clinical laboratory selected as its “Lab of the Year.” The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (CSMC) in Los Angeles displays great distinction in customer service, patient care, teamwork, productivity, efficiency, quality control, innovation, creativity, and value to its larger institution. MLO also honors the first runner-up, the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center Laboratory; and the second runner-up, Creative Testing Solutions. Congratulations to all three labs–and to all that submitted nominations to be MLO “Lab of the Year.”
