In celebration of the fifth anniversary of the American Proficiency Institute (API) Scholarship Program, API will award five scholarships worth $10,000 to medical laboratory science students late this year. Scholarship applications are available at www.api-pt.com or through Medical Laboratory Science program directors in the United States. Senior- and junior-level medical laboratory science students are encouraged to apply. Interested students should complete the application and submit it to their program director for a statement of support and signature. Program directors must submit the completed applications to API by Friday, November 9, 2012. Five winners of the $2,000 awards will be announced by Friday, December 14, 2012.
