Waste disposal containers

Bio-bins are a new cost effective and convenient alternative to plastic waste collection and disposal containers. Ideal for use in academic, industrial, clinical and government laboratories for a wide range of non-sharps biomedical and laboratory waste that require special heat treatment such as autoclaving or incineration before disposal. Laboratory items such as flasks, serological pipettes, micro volume plates, petri dishes, cell culture roller bottles, tips and tubes are ideal candidates for disposal by this method. Autoclave and/or incinerate contaminated materials in the Bio-bin and dispose of according to your local, state, or federal government regulations.

Desktop barcode and wristband thermal printers

The WPL25 Desktop Barcode Printer and WHC25 Desktop Wristband Printer use direct thermal technology to provide accurate high-quality images and barcodes. The thermal printing technology uses heat as opposed to ink, making the printed label or wristband smudge proof and durable.

WPL25 features a clamshell design, uses a 200 MHz processor, comes standard with USB and serial interfaces, and offers optional peeler, cutter, and stand-alone keyboard, making it easy to create an all-in-one barcoding and scanning solution.

WHC25 specializes in printing secure, long-lasting wristbands ideal for healthcare patient ID tracking. The LCD screen displays the printer's status and allows troubleshooting away from a PC. It can be a stand-alone printing station and configured to print wristbands by plugging a keyboard into the printer should your computer go down.

Tissue embedding system

The new TES Valida embedding system incorporates customer feedback. It has an aluminum casing and intuitive useable touch control elements, a paraffin tank with a capacity of 4.6 liters, and an enlarged thermal unit to accommodate cassette baskets from almost every tissue processor available. The bright work space light is retained, and the re-designed dispenser nose can also be used for depositing molds on top to heat them up. The newly squared cool spot fits ideally to the squared shape of the cassette molds. Connectors for two electronically heated forceps, six heating holes for regular forceps, and a hands-free foot switch complete the new concept. Unit design allows left- and right-handed individuals to work ergonomically.
