Bio-Rad Laboratories has published the second workbook in a quality control (QC) focused series that offers Professional Acknowledgement for Continuing Education (P.A.C.E.) credits. The series is digitally interactive with self-test to check your QC knowledge, allowing lab professionals to learn and pursue a higher standard in laboratory QC.
Bio-Rad’s QC Workbook concept is designed to provide lab professionals with the training and education needed to maintain reliable test results.
The new second installment, “Laboratory Quality Control Materials," focuses on identification of proper QC materials and appropriate usage and handling to help monitor QC testing procedures that produces high quality patient results.
In this workbook, the background and optimal use of different types of quality control materials are explained. Lab professionals can receive a certificate upon successful completion of a short exam at the end of the workbook, earning 2.0 contact hours.
