The Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB) has announced that applications for their 2026 Future Leader Scholarship Awards Program will remain open until September 4.

The scholarships are for specialists in blood banking (SBB) (or equivalent) and transfusion medicine and biotherapies fellows. Interested parties can submit their applications via email.

Winners will be awarded a $1500 honorarium at the AABB annual meeting and must conduct a five-minute lecture regarding their research during the Transfusion Medicine Subsection Coordinating Committee’s business meeting and luncheon. Eligibility requirements can be found on AABB’s website.
