Lighthouse Lab Services launched RCM Spotlight, cloud-based software that uses AI to provide business insight and improve RCM without additional human labor.
By using a copy of the standard claim and remit data that labs already exchange with payers, RCM Spotlight analyzes data using a proprietary AI engine to compare reimbursement and denial results across payers and similar providers.
The software provides labs and healthcare billing companies with the ability to detect changes in denial patterns, perform root cause analysis for denials, prioritize recoverable denials, compare payment performance with peers, and receive a monthly scorecard with analysis and results.
The company said it plans to pair findings from RCM Spotlight with consulting services, such as practical implementation guidelines, from Vachette Pathology.
