Stat Profile Prime CCS

Nova Biomedical announces the latest in critical care blood gas analyzers—the Stat Profile Prime CCS, featuring ZERØ maintenance cartridges and MicroSensor technology for exceptional value in a critical care whole blood analyzer. Stat Profile Prime’s ZERØ maintenance cartridge technology consists of individual cartridges for biosensors, calibrators, and liquid quality control. This design optimizes the life of each cartridge; improves analyzer uptime; and eliminates the waste, downtime, and higher costs of older combined calibrator/sensor cartridge systems. Stat Profile Prime delivers a full 10-test profile in 60 seconds including pH, PCO2, PO2, Na, K, iCa, Cl, Glucose, and Lactate.

AutoGenomics INFINITIAutoGenomics INFINITI high throughput system is designed to provide semi-automated multiplexed DNA analysis in an open front end system. The new platform provides highly flexible and scalable throughput from 96 to 3,456 samples tested in one shift. The HTS enables high-volume clinical laboratories to perform a large menu of cost-effective and easy-to-use tests with a high degree of efficiency. The system is compatible with the existing menu of more than 50 INFINITI applications. Open front-end processing facilitates integration to existing work flows, providing economic start-up without need for multiple proprietary systems. A low hands-on requirement at <30 minutes each batch reduces fatigue and error.

ESR-Auto Plus

The Streck ESR-Auto Plus is a 10-position automated ESR analyzer that accurately and precisely measures the sedimentation rate of erythrocytes in 1.2ml ESR-vacuum tubes. The analyzer features random access, a built-in printer, sample ID capability, optional barcode scanner, and QC and patient data storage. Results are available in 30 minutes, with a 15-minute prediction mode. Data can be downloaded to a laboratory information system.

RX daytona+

Randox received FDA clearance for the latest edition to the RX series, the RX daytona+, a fully automated, random access, bench-top analyzer, capable of running 270 photometric tests per hour or 450 with the optional ISE unit. The instrument offers features normally found on larger analyzers, such as STAT sampling, clot detection, low water consumption, easy-to-use Windows-based software, and dual 5-speed stirrers to optimize assay performance. Its comprehensive and flexible test menu allows the consolidation of a wide range of routine and esoteric tests including routinely run chemistries, specific proteins, and therapeutic drugs and drugs-of-abuse on one easy-to-use platform.

ACE Axcel

The ACE Axcel is the third generation chemistry analyzer from Alfa Wassermann. Designed to meet the needs of the POL, it has been cleared by the FDA specifically for use in physician office labs. The ACE Axcel has touch screen functionality, an intuitive user interface, and Internet connectivity. A self-contained system with a small footprint, the Axcel can process up to 285 tests per hour. It can run any combination of single tests, panels, or profiles and has an open reagent system that enables custom assays. A STAT interrupt feature allows users to load and prioritize STAT samples during system operation to meet immediate diagnosis and treatment needs. Closed-tube sampling with the STEP module minimizes operator interaction with patient specimens, making for a safer workplace.
