AUDIT MicroControls, Inc., announces new vitamin D linearity and controls

May 27, 2014

California-based AUDIT MicroControls, Inc., has announced new additions to its line of calibration verification/linearity and daily quality control products: Vitamin D Linearity & Control Kits. The ready-to-use liquid, human serum-based products are intended to be used with quantitative assays on clinical laboratory analyzers, simulating human patient serum samples.

The Linearity LQ Vitamin D (Universal) item #K729M-5 and Linearity LQ Vitamin D Roche item #K885M-5 both have five levels that demonstrate a linear relationship to each other when assayed for Vitamin D. These two ready-to-use liquid products have a shelf life of two years and an open vial stability of 14 days when stored at 2° to 8°C.

The Control LQ Vitamin D item #K075M-6 is an assayed, stable, ready-to-use liquid, bi-level reference control intended to simulate human patient samples for the purpose of monitoring the precision of laboratory testing procedures for Vitamin D assays. When stored at 2° to 8°C, the Control LQ Vitamin D has a shelf life of two years and an open vial stability of 30 days.

AUDIT MicroControls provides Auditor QC, a free online, real-time data reduction program that offers Levey-Jennings charts and peer group analysis for daily quality control product users, as well as linearity graphs and peer group analysis. Report results are given immediately in an “inspector friendly format” and stored on the Auditor QC website for future reference. Learn more about daily quality control solutions from AUDIT.
