Sunquest Information Systems has been exhibiting at the HIMSS 2014 conference being held this week in Orlando, FL. Company representatives have been showing conference attendees the latest enhancements and features of Sunquest’s full product suite. Company experts have been on the floor to provide product demonstrations.
Particular discussions centered around how Sunquest has been helping its partners to prepare for the changing regulatory requirements, including Meaningful Use Stage 2, CLSI Auto 12-A labeling, and ICD-10, have been valuable learning opportunities for organizations requiring support.
In addition, Sunquest has been participating in the HIMSS Intelligent Hospital Pavilion, with Sunquest Collection Manager and Sunquest Molecular. Keith Laughman, Executive Vice President Community Care Solutions, conducted a focus group with CHIME members called “Community Care: An Important Aspect of Population Management.”
Sunquest is a founding member of the CommonWell Health Alliance, and as such had a representative on site to discuss the industry group, which is working to improve patient outcomes and ensure that providers have secure, always-available access by connecting health data across systems and settings of care.
