Refrigerated incubator
The KT 115 refrigerated incubator utilizes energy-efficient Peltier refrigeration technology to provide secure, quiet, and accurate control. The unit offers a range of capabilities for incubating biological materials and guarantees reproducible results. Its chamber volume is 3.7 cu. ft., it runs at temperatures down to 4°C, and it can be decontaminated at its 100°C maximum temperature. Horizontal airflow from both sides provides uniform temperature distribution, even when fully loaded. Temperature, set digitally, is accurate to a tenth of a degree. Interior chamber is condensation-free. Rotary pushbutton input and graphic LCD are used to easily set the most demanding programs in English, French, or Spanish. The controller accommodates up to 10 different users, each having up to 10 stored programs. The controller’s USB interface can be used to transfer data to a PC and has a key lock and is password protected.

Cooling without ice or power
CoolBox™ XT Workstations provide all day cooling (16 hours, 0.5°C to 4°C) without ice or power. They have a modular design to accommodate a variety of CoolRack® and CoolSink™ sample modules that hold tubes—vacutainers, cryovials, large centrifuge, microfuge, PCR plates and strips, u-bottom plates, and flat-bottom tissue culture plates. The automation-friendly workstations contain SBS footprint sample modules that can be used on robotic instrumentation when a brief transfer (~30 minutes) of temperature-sensitive samples to a robotic device is needed. They are stackable, color-coded.

Energy-efficient freezers
HEF Freezers are defined by quality, performance, and energy efficiency which is achieved by using a dual foam technology, high-quality materials, and an energy-efficient fan system. Undercounter refrigerators/freezers
i.Series® and Horizon Series™ undercounter refrigerators and freezers are now available in ADA-compatible models designed to fit under 34″ ADA-compliant counters. They offer superior chamber temperature uniformity with quick recovery, bacteria-resistant powder coating, and self-closing door with magnetic latch. The units can be placed under the counter, used free-standing, and stacked. Models include a door-mounted i.C³™ User Interface with full-color touchscreen. Horizon Series models include a door-mounted alarm/monitoring system. Custom storage options include shelves, roll-out baskets, and drawers. LED lighting, swivel casters, and a glass door are also available.

Compact recirculating chiller
The Durachill™ 1.5 HP recirculating chiller provides reliable heat removal for precision laboratory equipment. It maintains process temperatures from 41°F to 95°F (5°C to 35°C), provides up to 6,328 watts of cooling at 68°F (20°C) ambient, and is available with a built-in heater. Models feature a microprocessor-based controller; digital displays for temperature and pressure/flowrate; one-touch set point control; and field-adjustable temperature, pressure, and flow-rate alarms. Also standard are adjustable high- and low-temperature limits and built-in compressor and pump protection as well as a local lockout to prevent unauthorized set point changes. Among the many options available is remote temperature tracking.

Digital thermometers
DirecTemp is a USB thermometry system that captures and displays temperatures in real time. These digital thermometers are available in tolerances from ±0.05°C to ±0.5°C between 0°C and 70°C, and ±0.1°C between 0°C and 100°C. Easy-to-use software plots and records data for analysis and allows users to create custom alert notifications, and to monitor multiple inputs simultaneously. The HID configuration is for plug-and-play, with automatic driver installation for Microsoft Windows 2000 and newer operating systems. Probes with a USB-serial configuration are intended for integration with custom third-party applications and compatible with Linux, Windows, and Mac operating systems. They are RoHS compliant, and NIST certificates are available upon request.
Chilling incubators
EchoTherm™ vibration-free benchtop chilling incubators have a 100-liter capacity and are Peltier-based for heating and chilling. There are two models: the IN55 is fully programmable and the IN50 is simple digital. They are settable from 4.0ºC to 70.0ºC and feature PID temperature control to ±0.1°C, digital display to 0.1°C, and accuracy to ±0.2ºC. They have RS232 I/O port for remote control and data collection, digital timer in hours, minutes, and seconds with user settable auto-off, temperature ramping on programmable models, and audible alarms. Chamber size is 24″ high by 20″ deep by 14″ wide. Incubators come with eight stainless steel racks with room for twelve and are split, front to back, in the middle for variety of sample sizes. The units are shipped with universal power supplies and are UL, CSA, and CE compliant.
