AABB Annual Meeting and CTTXPO is just around the corner

Transfusion medicine and cellular therapies professionals will gather in Boston from October 6 through October 9 to share their insights on the latest developments in their field at the AABB Annual Meeting and CTTXPO. Professional development will be on the agenda, with Continuing Education credits available to attendees, and a wealth of educational programs and discussions. Among these will be programs with such thought-provoking titles as “Managing the Inventory: Fresh vs. Old Blood”; “Current Status of Healthcare Reform: Innovative Models to Address the Affordable Care Act”; and “Research and Progress (RAP) Session: Current Research Findings that Influence Cellular Therapy Clinical Trials and Practices.” Further highlights will include a book signing with Mark Popovsky, MD, author of Transfusion Reactions; an Opening Session featuring Dr. Paul Farmer, global humanitarian and medical anthropologist; a CEO Summit presentation entitled “Disruptive Innovation in Health Care”; and the CTTXPO Exhibit Hall, opening on Saturday, October 6, and featuring more than 200 exhibiting companies.
