Kwiatkowski question

More than one reader has contacted me to the effect that my September “From the Editor” mistakenly characterized alleged “serial infector” David Kwiatkowski as a clinical medical technician. I am doing research now to verify exactly what his credentials were. I was following the lead of other media outlets–including the New York Times–but if I was unwittingly repeating others' mistake, I apologize. I'll get back to you on the other side of the holiday to report what I find. In the meantime, a happy and safe Labor Day to all.
