GEM premier ChemSTAT testing system for rapid, lab-quality BMP testing in the ED

At AACC on Tuesday, August 6th, 2:00-2:45pm, PCT, the new GEM Premier ChemSTAT system with Intelligent Quality Management (iQM) will be featured. It is designed for rapid basic metabolic panel (BMP) testing at the POC, primarily in the ED. In addition to a complete BMP panel, the system offers three new tests—Creatinine, Blood Urea Nitrogen and measured tCO2—plus Na+, K+, Ca++ Cl-, Glu, Lac, Hct, pH and pCO2. Providing lab-quality results in <70 seconds, from venous or arterial whole-blood samples, the system helps improve patient management, reduce LOS, and enhance efficiency.
