The MEDICA LABMED FORUM will be held virtually from November 16-20, 2020, according to a press release.
The English-language forum sessions will focus on the topics such as microbiology and infectious diseases, cardiology, oncology and, of course, COVID-19. The forum will be organized by Georg Hoffmann from the medical publishing house Trillium in cooperation with the German Heart Center Munich (DHM).
The themes, one for each day of the event, include:
· Microbiome diagnostics, infection diagnostics and breathomics
· Digitalization, computational biology and genetics in cardiology and oncology
· The central role of laboratory medicine in the COVID-19 pandemic
The last day of the conference will feature young scientists and laboratory medicine specialists, who will report on their research projects in biobanking, liquid biopsy and other trends in laboratory medicine. In addition, diagnostic companies will present innovative test procedures for COVID-19.
