The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is extending the comment period an additional 30 days for the notice of proposed rulemaking with a comment entitled “Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA) Fees; Histocompatibility, Personnel, and Alternative Sanctions for Certificate of Waiver Laboratories.”
The proposed rule appeared on July 26, 2022, Federal Register (87 FR 44896) with an original comment date of August 25, 2022. The comment period is now extended 30 days and will end at 5 p.m. EDT on September 26, 2022.
