Construction has begun on Medline’s 46th distribution center in the U.S., to be located in Midlothian, Texas. The building will be 1.2 million square feet, according to an announcement from the company.

The new facility is set to be an expansion of Medline’s current distribution offering in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. It is projected to open during the second quarter of 2027. It will “include the advanced technologies used at Medline’s other large distribution centers” and service:

  • Hospitals
  • Ambulatory surgery centers
  • Physicians
  • Nursing homes
  • Hospice care centers

Medline said this expansion will result in next-day delivery for most of its U.S. customers.
