Hims & Hers Health, Inc. is working to add pain-free blood sampling to their list of offerings. The company has completed the first step in this process by entering into a definitive agreement to acquire YourBio Health, Inc., according to an announcement.
The companies hope to make the blood collection experience more comfortable for patients. YourBio Health’s TAP device, built on HALO technology, will soon be available to Hims & Hers customers as part of its portfolio. The device collects “high-quality capillary blood samples” rapidly by using “bladeless microneedles thinner than an eyelash.” Hims & Hers will also benefit from the expertise of YourBio Health’s Dr. Michael Mina and Paul Owen on their staff.
The acquisition transaction is forecasted to close at the beginning of 2026. The companies hope painless blood sampling will become the new standard.
