The memo aims to help patients receive straightforward healthcare so they can make the best decisions about their care.
Additionally, “this update aligns with the Nursing Home CMS-2567 process, which per regulation, are releasable within 14 days of transmission to the facility (See 42 CFR 488.325).” The update is not applicable to Accrediting Organization (AO) survey findings, unless they are “related to surveys of Hospice and Home Health Agencies,” according to the memo.
