It can be deployed in the most basic installation where a single Trellis is utilized as a bridge between the EMR and a few low-volume instruments or to a network of multiple POC testing locations linked to a centralized lab using Orchard Harvest LIS.

CPOE connection for order entry

The CPOE Connect, an EHR plug-in solution, integrates with existing EHR products to deliver clinical order entry functionality at the point of care, providing medical necessity verification, ABN generation, and specimen labeling capability. It handles all types of orders including labs, radiology, and cardiology and can be integrated via embedding, web-services, and/or HL7. Validation module

Sunquest Laboratory Clinical Validation™ is a new module introduced with Sunquest Laboratory™ version 7.0. Clinical Validation supports the review process for microbiology test results that require multi-level review or pathologist analysis. It automatically queues results for review based on rules, which effectively standardizes the complete review cycle and improves turnaround time. Actions such as release and redirect of individual accessions or batches are done with a single mouse click. Plus it has the capability to add and pass electronic internal notes. A composite view of results can be seen by reviewers to support comprehensive interpretation and promote patient safety by consolidating information into a unified presentation.

EMR hybrid cart

PeerCare™ Electronic Medical Records (EMR) hybrid carts can be configured for traditional notebook computers or in a powered version for iPad®, Android® and Windows-embedded devices.
