New CN-3000 and CN-6000 hemostasis testing systems now available in U.S.
The new CN-3000 and CN-6000 systems consolidate clotting, chromogenic, immunoassay, and platelet aggregation testing onto a smaller platform, supporting laboratories with automation features that reduce manual intervention and improve workflow consistency.
The CN-3000 and CN-6000 automated hemostasis analyzers for mid- and high-volume laboratories from Siemens Healthineers are now available for patient testing in the United States, according to an announcement.
To help laboratories manage growing workloads and complex hemostasis testing, the CN-3000 and CN-6000 systems bring clotting, chromogenic, immunoassay, and platelet aggregation(Research Use Only) methodologies onto a single compact platform that is up to 60% smaller than others on the market.
Key features:
A broad menu of routine and specialty assays that enable laboratories to consolidate testing and support high testing volumes.
Easy configuration with existing track-based laboratory automation and Atellica Data Manager.
For health systems with multiple laboratory sites, the CN-3000 and CN-6000 Systems help standardize testing through common reagents, consumables, workflows, and user interfaces.
Consistent testing processes.
Reduced hands-on instrument management with automated features such as predictive reagent management, automated repeat and reflex testing, advanced pre-analytical sample assessment, and onboard guidance that assists staff in identifying and resolving issues.
Large onboard reagent and consumable capacity support up to 13 hours of walkaway time for increased productivity/run time with minimal staff intervention.
Additionally, the systems are designed to provide result correlation across other hemostasis platforms from Siemens Healthineers, helping laboratories maintain consistency as testing needs evolve. More information about the CN-3000 and CN-6000 systems can be found here.
