Labcorp and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) have entered into a strategic collaboration aiming to improve pediatric diagnostics. The partnership will utilize CHOP’s pediatric research and clinical expertise and Labcorp’s diagnostic resources, according to an announcement.

One of the goals of this project is to “expand access to advanced diagnostic testing for children and families across the country.” The organizations will work to not only modify existing tests to be more accurate for children, but they will also generate new “pediatric-specific” tests and technologies. These resources will be available nationally.
