Quest Diagnostics and Corewell Health launch Diagnostic Lab of Michigan
Quest Diagnostics and Corewell Health have partnered to establish the Diagnostic Lab of Michigan, expanding laboratory testing across the state with a new 100,000-square-foot facility planned for 2027.
Quest Diagnostics and Corewell Health have finalized an agreement to broaden laboratory testing in Michigan. The joint venture will be named Diagnostic Lab of Michigan, LLC, according to an announcement.
As part of the partnership, Quest has provided Collaborative Lab Solutions (Co-Lab) hospital lab management services to 21 of Corewell’s hospitals. Meanwhile, a new 100,000-square-foot facility is reportedly in the works and set to open in 2027 to house the Diagnostic Lab of Michigan.
Both companies will share ownership of the lab (Quest: 51%, Corewell: 49%).
