Verichem Laboratories now offers clinical laboratories their multi-analyte and completely liquid stable MATRIX PLUS Chemistry Reference Materials which are expressly designed for the calibration verification of wet chemistry assays on diagnostic instrument systems.

The multi-level and ready-to-use MATRIX PLUS Chemistry Reference Materials Kit, along with the optional and stand-alone Level F, support overall system QC and CLIA compliance, while serving as tools in determining a clinical system’s bias to the true, or known, value. This comprehensive six–level set of materials contains seven individual chemistry analyte components, covering a total of 48 separate and individual concentration levels. The available analytes include Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN), Calcium, Creatinine, Glucose, Magnesium, Phosphorus, and Triglyceride and are suitable for use on multiple analyzers utilizing a wide variety of testing methodologies, including visible spectrum, ultraviolet, kinetic, and/or endpoint.

All of VERICHEM’s MATRIX PLUS Chemistry Reference Materials incorporate a buffered protein-based matrix for serum-like reactivity and is intended to be treated just as a patient specimen with clinical testing systems. The formulation is free of glycols, surfactants, azide and other interfering substances.
