CLMA cancels KnowledgeLab 2020

March 13, 2020

The Clinical Laboratory Management Association (CLMA) has cancelled its annual conference, KnowledgeLab 2020.

“CLMA does not take this unprecedented decision lightly. Our primary concern is not only for the safety and well-being of our attendees and vendors, but also for the health and safety of the employees and families you work with and on behalf of in your laboratories. Your time away from the laboratory would have a significant impact on operations during this critical time, and, with that in mind, we as an organization could not ask you to do that,” said CLMA President Carol Collingsworth, MBA, MT(ASCP)SC.

“The very heart of what we do is serve others in times of uncertainty by providing accurate, timely information, which is subsequently used to make important decisions, and our work is of the utmost importance during this developing situation,” she added.

The show was scheduled for March 29-31, in Louisville, KY. The conference for 2021 is scheduled to take place March 21 – 23, in Nashville, Tennessee.
