The ninth edition of MEDITECH, organized by Corferias, the Colombian Association of Hospitals and Clinics (ACHC), and Messe Düsseldorf North America, brought together more than 12,700 healthcare professionals from across Colombia and the wider region, representing a strong 16% increase in attendance compared to 2024.
Nearly 300 exhibitors from 16 countries showcased the latest medical technologies and healthcare innovations. Participating countries included Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, and the United States. The event brought together manufacturers, distributors, healthcare providers, and industry decision-makers to foster business opportunities, knowledge exchange, and regional collaboration.
The trade show also recognized the winners of the second edition of Estrella Ceath, an award that – in Partnership with the Da Vinci Group - highlighted outstanding developments in quality, innovation, and sustainability across the healthcare and hospital environment:
- Innovation: Suministros Radiográficos received the award for its uMR Ultra magnetic resonance system.
- Quality: WX Medtech SAS won with its WX2 device.
- Sustainability: Stryker took home the award for its Neptune 3 Waste Management System.
- Public Recognition: Energymed Solutions received the fourth award, which was determined exclusively by votes from attendees at the Ceath Arena presentations.
During MEDITECH 2026, the VIII National Safe Hospital Award ceremony was also held, in which the ACHC recognized the following institutions in the Excellence in Patient Safety category:

- Organización Clínica Bonnadona Prevenir (Sede Barranquilla)
- Fundación Hospital San Vicente Paúl (Rionegro)
