MEDICA and COMPAMED have announced new themes, program formats and targeted networking opportunities for the 2026 trade fairs, taking place from November 16 -19 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.

MEDICA 2026 will divide its offering into five precisely defined thematic areas – ranging from clinical diagnostics and therapeutic technologies to digital medicine, data and artificial intelligence as well as integrated care, healthcare infrastructure and education and global health. In doing so, the event is consistently geared towards real-world clinical application scenarios and the concrete needs of healthcare provision.

The hall layout will also be updated: exhibitors will be positioned more closely in line with specific clinical requirements and application scenarios. At the same time, the quality and consistency of content at group exhibits will be specifically enhanced to ensure clear guidance for visitors.

Additional key additions/updates to the conferences:

  • The Wearable Technologies Conference Europe: Together with the established Wearable Technologies Show, it will reinforce a field that is becoming increasingly important for the future of connected healthcare – from prevention and chronic disease management to telemedical care.
  • The 1st German Health Resilience Conference, focusing on the resilience of healthcare systems and concrete strategies for dealing with crises and stressful situations – from cyber resilience to disaster management and stable supply chains.
  • “Hospital of the Future” will in future reflect the entire clinical patient workflow within a fully integrated system.
  • MEDICA MEDICINE + SPORTS CONFERENCE and MEDICA SPORTS HUB will be integrated and closer to the center of the exhibition.
  • Women in Health by MEDICA
  • Curated roundtables for political and local decision-makers
  • The Investors Lounge
  • Exclusive masterclass meetings and guided tours with limited participant numbers
  • Hall 9 refurbishment
  • North Entrance updates
  • New conference rooms
  • New Messe Düsseldorf headquarters

The close integration of MEDICA and COMPAMED will be further strengthened in 2026, including through the integration of COMPAMED expertise into selected MEDICA formats such as the MEDICA TECH FORUM.
