Nominate outstanding laboratory students for ASCP awards by May 1, 2026

The ASCP is seeking nominations for their 2026 Laboratory Student Awards, aimed at students excelling academically and demonstrating leadership.

The American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) has posted a call for nominations for their laboratory professional student awards. Nominations are due by May 1, 2026.

Ten outstanding students will be selected. Future laboratory leaders demonstrating academic excellence, community service and leadership are eligible to be nominated for an ASCP Laboratory Student Award. A program director or other instructor must submit the nomination. Additional criteria:

  • Nominees must be a current Laboratory Student Member of ASCP
  • Students should have a minimum GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale
  • The nominee demonstrates leadership and community service activities
  • The nominee is one of the following:
    • In the final clinical year of an accredited MLS/MT, MLT, PA, CT, HTL, MB, or CG program
    • Completing a clinical internship for an accredited MLS/MT or CT program
    • Enrolled in an accredited hospital-based MLS/MT program
    • Enrolled in an accredited PBT or HT program

Honorees will receive a personalized certificate and a BOC Study Guidebook of their choice.
