New leadership announced for the Alzheimer’s Advisory Council

Michelle Branham, Secretary of Florida’s Department of Elder Affairs, has been appointed Chair of the Advisory Council on Alzheimer’s Research, Care, and Services, alongside 10 new members, to improve Alzheimer’s care and reduce disease impact.

Michelle Branham is now the chair of Advisory Council on Alzheimer’s Research, Care, and Services. She, along with 10 new members were appointed by U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. on January 29th, according to an announcement.

The goal of this action is to enhance Alzheimer’s care and lower disease burden. Branham is currently Secretary of the Florida Department of Elder Affairs. She has been an advocate for public health for more than 25 years.

  • James Hartsell
  • Michael Mayo
  • Kristi Putnam
  • Steve Waterhouse
