The World Health Organization (WHO) has published a statement regarding vaccines and autism. Their position comes from an analysis from The Global Advisory Committee on Vaccine Safety (GACVS).

The committee reviewed current data from 31 studies and found no connection between vaccines and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). They looked for links between thiomersal-containing vaccines and ASD and general vaccines and ASD and found none.

Additionally, they didn’t find any relations between vaccines with aluminum adjuvants and ASD. They re-concluded that vaccines do not cause autism. WHO is calling on governments to keep up to date on the latest scientific evidence and use it for vaccine policies.
