NYU Langone received $60 million in gifts and used them to launch the Mignone Women’s Health Collaborative, according to an announcement.
The initiative will provide accessible health services for women. Its mission is “to shape a future where every woman has support to make the most-informed health decisions.” Educational resources and women’s health classes at NYU Grossman School of Medicine will also be available.
The NYU Langone Ambulatory Care Center East 53rd Street is now the Mignone Women’s Health Collaborative. $10 million from Kenneth C. Griffin “will allow NYU Langone to establish the Griffin Healthspan and Vitality Center within the collaborative.” This center will provide women with screening, personalized medicine, and other services.
Additionally, $50 million from the Allison and Roberto Mignone Family Foundation will be used to close gaps in women’s care.
