The next edition of the AABB Virtual Journal Club will focus on a recent Transfusion report from AABB’s Clinical Transfusion Medicine Committee (CTMC) that summarizes new and important advances in transfusion medicine. The CTMC has published this report in Transfusion every year since 2018.
Moderators Daniela Hermelin, MD, CABP, and Nalan Yurtsever, MD, will lead this edition of the discussion, which will take place over the course of 24 hours through two live Twitter chats. The first live chat will take place at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Aug. 29, followed by a second live chat at 9 a.m. ET on Wednesday, Aug. 30. AABB encourages those in the community who cannot attend the live discussions to contribute their perspectives asynchronously using the #AABBjc hashtag.
