TELCOR, Inc., has announced that its QML point-of-care software solution and WebMRE add-on module are compatible with Microsoft Windows Server 2012. The company recently performed comprehensive testing to verify that every QML and WebMRE function would work seamlessly on Windows Server 2012. WebMRE also was tested and validated for Microsoft SQL Server 2012.
TELCOR’s QML software solution provides comprehensive point-of-care data management, electronically receives results from 90+ medical devices used outside of the traditional laboratory setting, and sends these results to more than 40 laboratory or EMR systems. QML is an open vendor system. The open vendor approach offers the ability to select devices from any manufacturer in this market, enables additions and replacements to be implemented without downtime or impact on other device connectivity, and does not limit device selections to a single manufacturer.
In addition to the device and LIS/EMR interfaces that run unattended, company spokespersons stress that QML features automated alerts, dashboards, management by exception, operator testing privileges, automated operator and patient lists to devices, and operator certification tracking and documentation. QML provides unlimited data mining, patient and QC result management, comprehensive reporting for statistics and metrics, and hundreds of configuration options that allow each QML system to be configured to meet the unique requirements of each customer’s point-of-care testing program. The QML system can be installed in a wide range of virtual configuration options, including a distributed processing model and high availability options.
WebMRE is a Web-based module that fully integrates with QML to capture manual test results. It enables all results—whether from connected devices or manually entered—to be available from within QML and interfaced to the LIS/EMR for consistent and consolidated point-of-care result reporting.
