Thanks to all readers who corrected my identification of alleged “serial infector” David Kwiatkowski as a medical laboratory scientist in the “Observatory” and “From the Editor” sections of the September issue of MLO. I apologize for believing unreliable sources and not checking for myself. He was a radiologic technician, as a number of readers have pointed out. I have learned the truth of the old journalistic saying, “If your mother says she loves you, check it out.” Readers have the right to expect better from Medical Laboratory Observer, and we will do better!
