Streck to feature new cell-free RNA collection tube, AMR kits at AMP

Nov. 6, 2019

Streck will showcase a new cell-free RNA blood collection tube at the Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) Annual Meeting & Expo being held Nov. 7-9 at the Baltimore Convention Center, Baltimore, Maryland. Streck will also feature new antimicrobial resistance detection kits at Booth 3043.

The RNA Complete BCT adds to the Streck portfolio of blood collection tubes, giving researchers a direct draw blood collection tube that maintains draw time concentrations of exosomes and cell-free RNA. The product builds upon the success of the Cell-Free DNA BCT, which allows isolation of high-quality, cell-free DNA. RNA Complete BCT and Cell-Free DNA BCT are for research use only, and are not for use in diagnostic procedures.

The new Streck ARM-D Kits detect the most clinically important current and emerging antimicrobial resistance threats. The kits ‒ now for MCR, OXA, and TEM/SHV/GES ‒ rapidly screen more than 1,000 resistance gene variants. Streck ARM-D Kits are for research use only, and are not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Cell-Free DNA Urine Preserve is a liquid reagent that stabilizes cell-free DNA in urine specimens. Available in single-use plastic ampules, the product’s blue PCR compatible dye provides visual reassurance that reagent was added. Cell-Free DNA Urine Preserve reduces the need for immediate sample extraction and allows for convenient sample collection, transport and storage.
