Next-generation blood volume analyzer featured at HFSA meeting

Daxor Corporation showcased its FDA-cleared Blood Volume Analyzer (BVA) at the HFSA Annual Meeting, highlighting its rapid performance, reduced blood draw, and high accuracy for heart failure management.

Daxor Corporation showcased its FDA 510(k)-cleared, next-generation Blood Volume Analyzer (BVA) at the Heart Failure Society of America (HFSA) Annual Scientific Meeting, ending today, according to an announcement.

The system performs at triple the speed that the BVA-100 platform ran, requires 50% less blood drawn from the patient, and delivers more than 95% measurement accuracy, Daxor says. It is rapid, lightweight, and battery-operated.

During the conference, ePosters were presented, explaining how BVA can be implemented in advanced heart failure care using real-world data. The company also participated in Device Day.
