is a System Blood Bank and Transfusion Services Technical Specialist supporting six Legacy Health hospitals in Oregon. His work includes complex immunohematology consultation, transfusion service standardization, and validation and implementation of blood bank technologies, including system-wide gel-based ABO/Rh testing and automated immunohematology at a Level I trauma center. He also contributes to the transfusion medicine community through ASCP and AABB committee service, scientific presentations, and international education initiatives connecting U.S. expertise with laboratory professionals in the Philippines and other resource-variable settings.
