was awarded a Distinguished Fellowship by the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) and has 20 years as a quality management consultant. Sheila represents Canada at ISO, serving on ISO/TC 212/WG 1 for quality and competence in the medical laboratory for 15 years and as Project Leader for ISO15189:2022. As a member of ISO/TC 304/WG 5, she contributed to ISO 7101:2023; as the Convenor of ISO/CASCO/JWG 63, she was responsible for developing ISO/IEC 17021-15:2023.
