completed his medical residency in laboratory medicine, his PhD in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry, and postdoctoral fellowships at Yale University. He is currently director of the Pandemic Response Laboratory in New York City and is a fellow, educator, and inspector for the College of American Pathologists.
