Laboratory Systems Analyst

Full-Time; Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with off hour and weekend call

Responsible for coordinating the evaluation, planning, implementing and upgrading of laboratory applications to support core department functions and business processes; providing ongoing support and maintenance for laboratory applications to help organization meet business objectives; participating in the design, development and delivery of training to users on application functionality; responding to user requests and questions regarding system functionality and enhancements; maintaining system dictionaries; developing and preparing reports to assist users in managing processes, staff and workflow; troubleshooting and correcting problems for hardware, printers and software on all laboratory systems.

Requirements include:
• Associate’s degree
• MT (ASCP) certification
• 5 years’ experience with laboratory information systems
• Documented ability to work well with the public and other professionals
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Hands-on knowledge and experience with enterprise query tools such as SQL
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, hospital pathologists and other physicians
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Ability to design, implement and follow detailed project plans
• Ability to work independently and as part of team
• Strong customer service orientation

Laboratory Manager

North Colorado Medical Center, Greeley, CO

You will be responsible for all aspects of patient result reporting in any assigned area of the laboratory, demonstrating superior proficiency in analysis, quality control and quality assurance operation and evaluation, procedure implementation and maintenance, superior communication skills, customer service, instrument implementation and maintenance, problem solving, leadership and organization/prioritization skills. You will collaborate with all members of the health care team to provide quality service to our customers.

To thrive in this position, you must possess:

• A Baccalaureate degree (BA or BS) in Medical Technology or clinically related biological science

• Successful examination and registration as a Medical Technologist with ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) or equivalent

• Experience as an MT in a clinical hospital laboratory preferred

• In the Cryo Lab setting, a current membership with the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) and a minimum of 5 years of lab research experience in bacteria, stem cell or related field is required; in lieu of registration as a Medical Technologist

• Must be able to communicate effectively, in both oral and written formats. Ability to utilize computer programs for reports and graphs preferred

• Leadership experience preferred
