Clinical Lab Coordinator

Erlanger Health System is an 813 bed, multi-hospital system with five campuses based in Chattanooga, TN and is the 9th largest public hospital in the U.S.

Erlanger is the tri-state region’s only Level One Trauma Center and the children’s hospital at Erlanger houses the regions only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, as well as a pediatric trauma team, Emergency Center and Pediatric Intensive care Unit. Erlanger serves as the regions only academic teaching hospital, affiliated with the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and is recognized as Chattanooga’s number one hospital by U.S. News and World Report. 

The Clinical Lab Coordinator position oversees operations of the microbiology department of a full service hospital microbiology laboratory.  State of TN medical technologist license required and must be eligible for TN med tech supervisory license.

Qualified candidates will be responsible for  independently performing and evaluating clinical laboratory testing accurately and efficiently and placing a strong emphasis on customer service and team oriented behavior.

Requirements include a high school diploma; Bachelor's degree; and FL Medical Technologist license in Chemistry, Hematology, Serology, Microbiology and Immunohematology.
