Designed to ensure full standardization of all preanalytical steps for gel electrophoresis, Assist is an autosampler that eliminates manual pipetting with direct sampling from primary tubes, full barcode management, and the ability to perform standard or customized dilutions and anti-sera pipetting. Pre- and post-clinical specimen processing
AutoSorter III is a compact, fully integrated pre- and post-analytic specimen processing instrument designed to improve processing accuracy and relieve laboratory staff of repetitive tasks. The system permits use of a wide variety of specimen tube configurations and instrument racks, and provides fast, accurate, and reliable specimen centrifugation, decapping, and sorting. It can be used as a stand-alone workcell for specimen processing, or it can be connected to a track system for direct transfer of specimens to and from diagnostic instruments. The instrument also consolidates post-analytic specimens and creates inventory files for archive consolidation.

Autonomous robot transports samples
The autonomous mobile robot, SpeciMinder, provides either on-demand or scheduled transport of batch loads weighing up to 50 pounds. The robot, which moves at normal walking speed, is highly maneuverable, capable of passing through congested hallways and door openings as narrow as 27 inches. Featuring easy-to-use and flexible route-generation technology and a collision-avoidance system, the battery-powered robot navigates its environment by using an on-board electronic map, which is created by driving the robot through the travel route and electronically marking the load/upload stations. In addition to movement, the robot can be programmed to give verbal commands such as “Please remove this item.”
