Ergonomic chairs for the lab
Case Systems casework and work surfaces are treated with odorless, colorless, non-leaching, long-lasting ÆGIS Microbe Shield antimicrobial technology to protect work surfaces from bacteria and other microbes. Effective against a wide range of microorganisms, including bacteria and fungi, the silane-based shield is chemically bonded to the surface, and does not off-gas, leach, or migrate into the environment. Durable over the lifetime of the casework, the surface treatment is compatible with healthcare and laboratory environments, where an additional means of protection can be used in conjunction with a standard cleaning protocol.

Adjustable-height phlebotomy cart
The Zido Phlebotomy Cart is an adjustable-height cart with a lockable storage compartment. Designed specifically for phlebotomists in hospitals and clinical labs, the cart provides a place for vials, sharps, gloves, and labels. An adjustable-height cylinder inside the column lifts the shelf 30 inches to 40 inches high with the squeeze of the paddle. The cylinder balances loads of 16 pounds to 30 pounds, and the cart supports 150 pounds overall. The column features holes in 1-inch increments for installation of the glove-box holder and a tray for a sharps container. The cart’s 4-inch casters make the cart easy to maneuver, even in and out of elevators and over thresholds, and the cast aluminum handle makes the cart easy to steer.

Smart cabinet tracks inventory
The
RFID-Enabled Cabinet has 25 cubic feet of storage space. The
customizable storage system features bins, shelves, and hangers. RFID
technology enables the cabinet to capture inventory transactions at the
item level. To access the cabinet, a user presents his electronic
access-control card to a cabinet-mounted scanner and removes the needed
RFID-tagged product. Once the cabinet door is closed, the RFID system
records the items that were removed and communicates the information
back to the database. In addition to tracking inventory, the enclosure
also monitors the internal temperature and the inventory-expiration
dates.
